Care and Preservation

Easier to Care than you Thought

Silk products deserve thoughtful care, but tending to them is easier than you might expect. With just a few gentle habits, your silk can stay soft, luminous, and long-lasting—preserving the comfort and elegance that make it special in the first place. Whether it’s a sleep mask, pillowcase, or scrunchie, a little attention goes a long way in keeping every piece looking and feeling its best.

Designed for Delicate Machine Care

Our silk responds best to a gentle touch. It can be washed in the machine on a delicate setting, using cool water and a mild pH-balanced liquid cleanser, with a protective wash bag to help preserve its smooth surface and quiet sheen. Allow it to dry softly and rest in a calm, breathable space, away from harsh light or heat. With considered care, its natural drape and softness remain beautifully intact.

Recommended Care

  • For light marks, gently dab with a soft cloth moistened with cold water and a drop of pH-neutral detergent. Pat dry with a clean towel and leave flat to air dry, out of direct sunlight.
  • Please handle with care—friction or rough surfaces may damage the delicate fibers.

To be Avoided

  • Dry cleaning - Most everyday silk items don’t need dry cleaning, and the chemicals used in the process can be unnecessarily harsh. Over time, they may dull the fabric and shorten its lifespan.
  • Bleach is far too harsh for delicate silk fibers. Even a small amount can weaken the fabric, strip its natural sheen, and cause discoloration that cannot be reversed.
  • Keep away from oils, lotions, or skincare products, which may cause staining or discoloration.
